Wayne Chuang currently works on Microsoft’s AI Frameworks team, where he leads the evolution of edge AI architecture and developer ecosystem development. With over eight years of experience building AI/ML and platform-scale products, Wayne specializes in translating complex system-level engineering into clear, high-impact strategies. He leads the definition of SDKs, API specifications, and developer workflows across Microsoft’s AI technology stack, while working closely with Qualcomm, NVIDIA, Intel, and AMD on underlying hardware acceleration and cross-platform performance optimization for AI models. His experience spans platform-scale infrastructure development at Amazon and early-stage firmware and hardware system R&D for Microsoft Xbox. Wayne brings extensive hands-on expertise in modern AI framework deployment, software-hardware co-optimization, and large-scale system architecture planning.
