Tencent Senior Engineer, OpencloudOS Community Stream Sig Maintainer
Member of Tencentos Server OS team and OpenCloudOS OS open source community team, maintainer of key packages such as glibc in OpenCloudOS community, contributor to glibc upstream community. Participated in building OpenCloudOS from scratch. He has been deeply involved in the design and development of community self-maintenance infrastructure, and has opened up the whole process from upstream community package introduction and upgrading, community dynamics tracking and problem fixing, compatibility change identification and impact analysis to release, and based on the AI model, realising the automated and intelligent efficient maintenance of the release community.
Topic
LLM/AI-Assisted Development and Automated Maintenance of Linux Distributions
In a rapidly evolving software ecosystem, operating system maintenance faces serious challenges. The proliferation of software packages makes manual updates, upgrades, and conflict handling cumbersome and time-consuming. In addition, ensuring the compatibility of the base image and the efficiency of the automated build packaging process have also become urgent issues. In order to solve these problems, OpenCloudOS builds a whole-link automated maintenance system based on AI big models to achieve automatic package tracking, upgrading, conflict handling, and whole-process automated infrastructure improvement, which greatly improves efficiency and accuracy and expands application scenarios. For example, using the big model to classify and track package updates; combining the big model to intelligently analyse and solve complex problems in patch conflict handling and compatibility checking; and using it to automate build/packaging and base image conversion to improve efficiency and accuracy, enriching the application scenarios of OpenCloudOS. This sharing will share in-depth how OpenCloudOS can optimise the maintenance process of OpenCloudOS by efficiently managing a large number of packages, automatically converting base images, and developing application automation build/packaging tools.
